Terms of Service for Sambokoll

Effective as of 18 August 2026

These terms govern your use of Sambokoll. How Rendly AB processes personal data is described in the privacy policy.

1. About Sambokoll and the agreement

Sambokoll is a digital service for household finances. The service can be used for, among other things, budgeting, cost sharing, savings goals, importing and categorising transactions, and financial calculations and simulations.

The service is provided by:

  • Rendly AB
  • Corporate registration number: 559569-5577
  • Storängsparken 9C, 614 32 Söderköping, Sweden
  • Support: support@rendly.se

When you create an account you must accept these terms of service and confirm that you have read the privacy policy. The agreement applies from that moment.

You must be at least 18 years old and have the right to enter into the agreement in order to use Sambokoll.

2. Scope of the service

Sambokoll is a planning and calculation tool. Results, forecasts, categorisations and simulations are based on the data and assumptions used and may be incomplete or incorrect.

Sambokoll does not provide individual financial, legal, tax or investment advice. You are responsible for your own financial decisions and should consult a qualified adviser when needed.

We may change, add or remove features. If a change materially degrades a paid service, we will inform you within a reasonable time when possible.

3. Account and login

You are responsible for:

  • providing an email address that you are entitled to use
  • keeping access to your email and your login links secure
  • not sharing a valid login link with anyone else
  • contacting us as soon as possible if you suspect unauthorised access

Sambokoll normally uses a one-time link sent by email for logging in. Anyone with access to your email can therefore, in practice, gain access to the account.

4. Households and sharing

You can create or join a household and invite other people. The members of a household may gain access to the household's data, for example budgets, income, expenses, transactions, balances, savings goals and calculations.

Before you enter or share data about someone else, you are responsible for making sure that the person is aware of and, where required, has approved the sharing. Do not enter more data about others than is necessary.

If you leave a household, or if a household is removed, you may lose access to shared data. Therefore, export any information you need to keep before your access ends.

5. Your content

You retain the rights to the data and files you enter into Sambokoll. You grant Rendly AB a limited right to process the content to the extent needed to provide, secure, maintain and improve the service in accordance with the privacy policy.

You are responsible for having the right to use and share the content. You may not enter content that is illegal, infringes someone else's rights, contains malicious code, or is used for fraud or other abuse.

Sambokoll is not intended for full card numbers, bank login credentials, security codes or other data that can be used to make payments or take over an account. Such data must not be entered.

6. Acceptable use

You may not:

  • attempt to gain unauthorised access to the service, other accounts or underlying systems
  • disrupt the operation of the service or circumvent security or usage restrictions
  • use the service in violation of the law or of anyone else's rights
  • copy, sell, rent out or re-provide the service without written permission
  • use automated requests in a way that burdens or damages the service

We may temporarily restrict or suspend access when reasonably necessary for security, maintenance, investigation of abuse, or to comply with the law. When possible, we will inform you first and give you an opportunity to remedy a breach of the agreement.

7. Trial period, price and payment

The current price, trial period and what is included are shown on Sambokoll before you order. At the time these terms take effect, sambokoll.se offers a free 60-day trial period followed by SEK 49 per month. The price shown at the time of ordering applies and is stated inclusive of applicable taxes for consumers.

If you provide a payment method for a trial period that automatically converts into a paid subscription, this must be made clear before you order. The subscription then renews one month at a time until it is cancelled.

You can cancel the subscription at any time. The cancellation takes effect from the next renewal date, and you normally retain access to the service for the period already paid. Fees already paid are refunded only where required by law or expressly agreed.

If a payment fails, we may retry the payment, ask you to update the payment method and, after reasonable notice, restrict access. We may change the price ahead of an upcoming payment period. You will be informed in advance and can cancel the service before the new price takes effect.

8. Right of withdrawal

If you are a consumer, you normally have a 14-day right of withdrawal for distance contracts. Information on how to exercise the right of withdrawal and, where required, a withdrawal form will be provided in connection with a paid order.

If you expressly request that a paid service begins during the withdrawal period, Rendly AB may, to the extent permitted by law, be entitled to proportional payment for the part provided before you withdraw. Your mandatory consumer rights are not affected by these terms.

9. Operation, backups and export

We work to keep Sambokoll secure and available, but cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Temporary outages may occur due to maintenance, faults, incidents or circumstances beyond our control.

Sambokoll has export features. You are responsible for regularly exporting information that is particularly important to you. Our backups are primarily intended for restoring the service and do not replace your own copy.

10. Intellectual property

Rendly AB or its licensors own Sambokoll, including software, design, trademarks and other material that is not your content. The agreement gives you a personal, limited, revocable and non-transferable right to use the service in accordance with the terms.

If you provide voluntary feedback, Rendly AB may use it to develop the service without compensation, but may not publish your personal data in violation of the privacy policy.

11. Termination and deletion

You can terminate the service at any time and request that the account be deleted. Deletion is carried out in accordance with the privacy policy and cannot be undone from the active service. Some data may need to be retained by law, for legal claims, or in protected backups for a limited time.

If the account has had no login or other activity for twelve months, we may, after one or more warnings by email, delete the account and its content. The deletion takes place no later than one month after the last warning if the account is still inactive.

We may terminate the agreement or close an account in the event of a material or repeated breach of the agreement, a security risk, illegal use, or if we are required to do so by law. When possible, we will give reasonable advance notice and an opportunity to export content.

12. Liability

Rendly AB is liable in accordance with mandatory law. Beyond that, Rendly AB is not liable for financial decisions you make based on data, forecasts or calculations in Sambokoll, or for errors caused by data provided by you or a household member.

For users acting as consumers, the terms do not limit rights under mandatory consumer legislation. For use in a business, Rendly AB is not liable for indirect damage, loss of profit or consequential damage, unless the damage was caused intentionally or through gross negligence.

13. Personal data

Rendly AB processes personal data in accordance with the privacy policy. Sambokoll's database is provided by the US company Neon, LLC, which is part of Databricks, and the application runs on Deno Deploy, provided by the US company Deno Land Inc. Personal data may therefore be transferred to or accessed from the United States. More information is available in the privacy policy under the section Transfers to the United States and other countries.

14. Changes to the terms

We may update the terms when the service, the price, legislation or our ways of working change. In the event of material changes, we will inform you in the service or by email within a reasonable time before the change takes effect. If you do not accept a material change, you can terminate the service before it takes effect.

15. Governing law and disputes

Swedish law applies. If you are a consumer, the choice of law does not affect the protection you have under mandatory rules in the country where you live.

Contact support@rendly.se first and we will try to resolve the issue. A consumer can also turn to the Swedish National Board for Consumer Disputes (Allmänna reklamationsnämnden, ARN). Rendly AB participates in the dispute resolution procedure and follows ARN's recommendations. Disputes that are not resolved otherwise are settled by a competent general court.
